For users across North Africa this means: receive USD or EUR from clients and family abroad via stablecoins in minutes, and spend with a virtual Visa card online or in-store. A key use case in the region: paying for USD subscriptions. Where local bank cards are often declined for foreign-currency payments, these virtual cards let you pay USD-billed services such as streaming platforms, app stores, cloud tools, hosting or freelance software subscriptions directly from your stablecoin balance. These apps are not limited to Europe and the US: RedotPay officially supports a long list of countries worldwide, KAST serves 170+ countries including large parts of the Middle East and North Africa, PokePay is available almost worldwide (except the US and mainland China), and Rizon is rolling out globally — even offering AED accounts for the region.

Who we are

One person, zero sponsored placements

No provider pays for a better score or a higher spot on this page — revenue comes only from affiliate links when you sign up through one of ours, at no extra cost to you. StableCard Hub is run by Sharif Ahmad.

How we test

Hands-on, not copy-pasted

Fees are checked against each provider's official page and re-verified regularly, since crypto terms change fast. This is not financial advice; always confirm current terms directly with the provider before you sign up. Every card compared here is opened and used first-hand — sign-up flow, app experience, support response time — not just numbers lifted from a pricing page.

Step by step

How to set up each card

Here is the exact flow per app. Tip: always start with a small test amount and double-check the network before every deposit. The process is similar everywhere: register, verify your identity (KYC), deposit stablecoins, create the card.

RIZON

Rizon

  1. 1Sign up via the button above and download the Rizon app (iOS/Android).
  2. 2Complete KYC: ID document + selfie, usually verified within minutes.
  3. 3Never share it, never store it as a screenshot. Create your self-custodial wallet and write down the recovery phrase offline — whoever has this phrase controls your money.
  4. 4Alternatively activate your virtual USD/EUR/GBP account and receive ACH or SEPA transfers. Deposit USDC or USDT: pick a supported network (Solana, Base, Polygon, Arbitrum…) and make sure the sender uses the SAME network.
  5. 5Order the virtual Visa card (≈ $3.50) and add it to Apple Pay / Google Pay.
  6. 6Pay online or in-store — cashback is credited automatically.
KAST

KAST

  1. 1Register via the button above with e-mail or phone number in the KAST app.
  2. 2Complete KYC verification (ID + selfie).
  3. 3Choose your tier: the free tier is enough to start; paid tiers raise cashback.
  4. 4Fund your account: deposit USDT, USDC or USDe (0% conversion — select the correct network!) or activate your US (ACH/Fedwire) and EU (SEPA) account details and get paid like a local.
  5. 5Create the virtual Visa card and add it to Apple Pay / Google Pay.
  6. 6Spend in USD without conversion fees and collect USD cashback.
REDOTPAY

RedotPay

  1. 1Sign up via the button above (app or web) with your e-mail.
  2. 2Complete KYC — typically approved within minutes.
  3. 3Copy the deposit address from the app and verify the network matches exactly. Deposit crypto: BTC, ETH, USDT or USDC.
  4. 4Order the virtual card ($10 one-time) — it is active immediately.
  5. 5Add the card to Apple Pay / Google Pay and start paying (1% fee in USD).
  6. 6If desired: order the physical card ($100) if you also want ATM withdrawals (2% fee).
POKEPAY

PokePay

  1. 1Register via the button above in the PokePay app.
  2. 2Complete KYC verification.
  3. 3Buy the virtual card (≈ $20; look for coupon promos around $7).
  4. 4Always match the network. Top up with USDT, USDC, BTC or ETH — deposits are usually credited within ~15 minutes.
  5. 5Bind the card to Alipay, WeChat Pay or PayPal, or use the card number directly for subscriptions.
  6. 6Optional: order the physical card ($88) for ATM access.
MYPAL

MyPal

  1. 1Register via the button above on MyPal.
  2. 2Complete KYC verification.
  3. 3Order the virtual card in the app.
  4. 4Top up with USDT or USDC — select the correct network before sending.
  5. 5Add the card to Apple Pay / Google Pay.
  6. 6Use it for online payments; start with a small amount to test the full cycle (deposit → payment) first.
Crypto, explained simply

How stablecoins turn into a bank account

Understanding them takes five minutes and prevents expensive mistakes. Each of the five apps rely on the same building blocks.

1 · What is a stablecoin?

Unlike Bitcoin, the price barely moves — but unlike bank money, you can send it anywhere in the world in seconds, 24/7, often for cents. That is why these apps use stablecoins as their internal 'dollar'. USDT (Tether) and USDC (Circle) are tokens pegged 1:1 to the US dollar. 1 USDC ≈ 1 USD, around the clock.

2 · Receiving crypto payments

A client, marketplace or family member anywhere in the world can send you USDC or USDT and it arrives within minutes — no bank, no business days. Critical detail: the sender must pick the same network (e.g. Solana, Tron/TRC20, Base) that your app supports, or the funds can be lost. Each app gives you deposit addresses.

3 · Your USD / EUR / GBP account

Anyone can pay you like a local, and incoming money is automatically converted into stablecoins in your balance. Rizon, KAST and RedotPay issue virtual account details in your name — a US account & routing number, a European IBAN and a GBP account — once you complete the KYC identity verification and provide the required personal information; PokePay and MyPal are payment platforms without these account rails.

4 · ACH & SEPA transfers

With these virtual accounts you can receive salaries, platform payouts (Upwork, YouTube, Amazon…) and client payments via ACH or SEPA — and with Rizon also send stablecoins out as fiat to bank accounts in 50+ countries. ACH is the standard US bank transfer network; SEPA is its euro-area equivalent.

5 · Spending with the card

You pay in EUR in Berlin, GBP in London or USD online, while the balance is deducted in USDC/USDT. Watch two costs: the conversion fee and the FX fee — they differ hugely between apps (0% at KAST/Rizon vs ~2.2% at RedotPay). At checkout the app converts your stablecoins into the merchant's currency in real time over the Visa network.

6 · Custodial vs. self-custodial

Self-custodial (Rizon): you hold the keys and the company cannot touch the funds, but you are responsible for your recovery phrase. Neither model is covered by government deposit insurance. Rule of thumb: self-custody is the gold standard — never leave funds sitting on platforms you don’t control longer than necessary. Custodial (KAST, RedotPay, PokePay, MyPal): the company holds your funds — if it fails or freezes your account, you depend on it.

Same principle with a EUR IBAN (SEPA) or GBP account details. Example flow: Client in the USA —ACH→ your virtual USD account → auto-converted to USDC → you tap your Visa card in a Berlin supermarket in EUR, send money home via SEPA, or withdraw cash at an ATM.

Risk notice

  • Balances are not covered by any deposit insurance. Crypto risk: crypto assets and balances at custodial fintechs involve risk, up to and including total loss.
  • Tron/TRC20, Solana, Ethereum/ERC20, Base). Sending over the wrong network can lead to a permanent loss of your funds — blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. Network warning: when sending stablecoins, ALWAYS select the correct network (e.g.
  • Conditions change frequently. Do your own research: verify fees, availability in your country and current terms directly with the provider prior to registering.
  • Never leave funds sitting on custodial platforms longer than necessary: not your keys, not your coins. Self-custody first: self-custodial solutions — where only you hold the keys — are the safest model.
  • Not financial advice: this site is an independent comparison for informational purposes only and doesn’t constitute financial, legal or tax advice.
Good to know

Common questions

Are these real bank accounts?

To open them you complete a KYC identity verification and provide certain personal information. Incoming money is converted into stablecoins in your balance, which you can spend with the card or send on. Account and transfer features vary by provider and region. Rizon and KAST are the strongest options in this comparison for receiving bank transfers; check each provider’s current eligibility, currencies and transfer rails before relying on an account for salary or client payments.

Which app is cheapest overall?

RedotPay costs ~1–2.2% per purchase but offers the highest limits. PokePay is the cheapest to open. Add up issuance fee + conversion fee + FX fee for your own spending pattern. For pure stablecoin spending in USD, KAST (0% conversion) and Rizon (≈0% + cashback) are cheapest.

Is this legal, and what about taxes?

Taxes are your responsibility: in many jurisdictions, converting crypto to fiat — including every card payment — can be a taxable event. Stablecoin swipes usually create no gain, but keep records and ask a tax professional. These apps are legal to use in most countries (note: some, like RedotPay and PokePay, exclude US residents).

How do the affiliate / invite links work?

If you sign up through them, we may earn a commission. This never costs you extra and doesn’t change our analysis. The buttons on this page contain referral links.

Can I receive my salary or freelance income?

Give your employer or client your virtual USD (ACH) or EUR (SEPA) details like any bank account. Check per-transfer limits and whether your platform (e.g. Upwork, Deel, PayPal payouts) supports the account type first. Yes — that is the strongest use case for Rizon and KAST.

What is the single biggest risk?

With custodial apps your money is only as safe as the company behind it. Spread funds, keep balances low, prefer regulated and well-funded providers, and and always test any new app with a small amount first. Counterparty risk.
